Country cabins near Jasper National Park
Located in the Alberta foothills along the eastern slopes of the Rockies our 60 acre property and surrounding crown lands provide excellent trails for various year-round outdoor activities. We offer private fully-serviced cabins, a rustic cabin, guest suite in our main house, riverside teepees and campsites. Old Entrance is a scenic site along the Athabasca River, a ten minute drive from Hinton's Parks West Mall and golf course. The east gate of Jasper National Park is a fifteen minute drive on Highway #16 and world famous Miette Hot Springs is a half hour away. We're conveniently located near the trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway #16 between Vancouver and Edmonton on Bighorn Highway #40 North, the scenic Alaska route. We offer guided horseback trail riding and for those traveling with horses we offer overnight holding corrals. Guests' pets are welcome but must be kept under strict control at all times. Pets must not be left unattended in our cabins or be allowed on the furniture at any time.|

Cottage Overview:We’ve been told that our cabins have a lot of country charm that takes a person a step back in time. Two of the cabins were originally built in the area as forest service ranger cabins. The cabins are clean, bright, non-smoking and are tastefully decorated with a few antiques. Each unit is set up for the maximum occupancy number specified. We do not provide roll-away cots or allow more occupants in the cabins than the maximum specified. We do not have adequate facilities (common kitchen, dining hall or bathrooms) for large groups and therefore discourage large group gatherings. Points of Interest near the Cottage:
